What is the NDIS?
The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) was introduced in 2016. Under the scheme, people with permanent and significant disabilities are able to access funded support for a range of services. The NDIS aims to give participants greater choice and flexibility over their treatment and services.
NDIS and Move OT
Move OT has significant experience working within the NDIS Scheme. We work closely with the participant and their support workers to ensure that we help them achieve their goals in a structured manner.

- Functional Assessments (global assessment to assist with goal planning and setting up support workers)
- Mental Health Functional Assessments
- Sensory Assessments
- ADL Functional Assessments (including skills such as cooking, cleaning, transport, routines)
